More information on the voluntary submission process
For those participants who would like to practice the art of writing academic papers, we will establish a voluntary submission process with peer-reviewed proceedings. In order to participate in the submission process, you have to write a conference-style extended abstract for your talk and submit it before the convention. However, we will (most likely) not reject submissions during the review process, but rather use this procedure to provide more structural feedback to the participants rather than only ad-hoc feedback during the talks.
Please send you submissions by email to submission(at)pet(dash)con(dot)org. The work should be formatted in LNI-style and have 3 to 8 pages in DIN-A4 format. Please do submit PDF-Files, if possible. Together with a copy of your work please provide us with the following information:
- Your name and affiliation
- Names of additional authors
- E-Mail address and telephone number
- Your consent to publish your Name and affiliation on this page (optional)
Your name and affiliation will be (with your consent) published on this web page; name, affiliation and email address will appear in the printed proceedings; the telephone number will be kept strictly internal and deleted after the workshop - its intended use is for urgent requests during the editing phase of the proceedings.
Submission of extended abstracts will be possible until August~30th, the reviews will be made available until September 15th. Camera ready copies must be re-submitted until September 20th (sharp!) in order to appear in the proceedings.
Note: Submissions are optional! You can give a talk without submitting an extended abstract beforehand. You can also passively attend the convention without giving a talk at all.
Registration
If you would like to attend the convention, please mail your name and affiliation to registration (at) pet-con (dot) org. Please do not forget to include the subject of your talk if you plan to present your work. Detailed information about the submission process will be published at the web site (www.pet-con.org) in due time.
Note that you may give a talk without submitting an extended abstract before the convention. You may also attend the convention without giving a talk at all.
